]]> The Lexus LS460 shown here was hit so hard.  We were glad that its owner was not hurt.  As you can see this was a rear hit that required us to remove the entire back end of the vehicle.  This vehicle needed the sheet metal pulled to get the lines back.  However, before the pull, we remove the rear glass so it doesn’t break during the pulling process.  Next our technicians have to pre-fit all the sheet metal before it is welded to make sure the fit will be aligned and tight.  Once all the sheet metal is aligned our technician begins the spot welding process and then body repairs start.  After the body repairs are complete the lengthy process of paint preparation begins.  This particular Lexus LS460 is a pearl white, 3-stage paint process.  The prep is quite time consuming but is so important to get a perfect finish.  The gentleman who owns this vehicle is a longtime customer of Allston Collision Center and we appreciate his trust in us.  Thank you David!
